Research shows that 42% of Gen Z in the U.S. already have some experience with crypto and people aged 17–20 are the most vulnerable group (sources 1, source 2). This highlights the responsibility of schools and society to guide young people and provide them with a solid foundation in understanding the risks of the crypto world before stepping there with the wrong foot.
This interactive workshop is designed to equip students with a clear understanding of the cryptocurrency world.
Intro to financial literacy - Students learn the principles of money, inflation, central banking, investments and risk management
Introduction to bitcoin - understanding why and how bitcoin works and why it’s considered “digital gold”, real-life use cases of blockchain technology
Understand risks in the crypto world - Students learn to distinguish scams and understand the risks associated with online finance and how to behave safety in decentralized world
Lecture is free and takes 1-2 hours, workshop is organized by ACR in Czech or English
